The Lastinger Center has created a professional development model that is embedded in schools and provides teachers with an array of training and support to improve teacher practice and student learning.
In partnership with the Wachovia Teachers and Teaching Initiative, the Lastinger Center is helping to develop master teachers for Florida's schools.

Our commitment to teachers runs deep. That's why we offer a free masters degree program, delivered online and onsite, to teachers in Lastinger Partner Schools.
The cornerstone of the Lastinger Center's work is the development of Professional Learning Communities in which teachers are valued as active learners in on-going inquiry to inform and improve practice as well as transform school culture.
