The Lastingers are deeply committed to education as evidenced by the large number of teachers that exist within their family and through their creation of the Lastinger Center for Learning by way of a $4,000,000 endowment.
The Lastinger Center for Learning reflects Allen and Delores Lastinger's vision of practical, hands-on involvement that produces improvements in professional practice and student learning.
Through the generosity of Allen and Delores Lastinger, the Lastinger Center for Learning is bringing the research-tested methods and intellectual resources of the University of Florida's College of Education to the front-lines of public education.
