Developing Educational Leaders

In the coming years, school districts will face a shortage of executive level school administrators and leaders.

As a result, the Lastinger Center partners with the Department of Educational Administration and Policy of the College of Education at the University of Florida to provide the Leadership in Educational Administration Doctoral Program in K-12 Leadership (Ed.D.) and Principal Certification Master's or Specialist Degree.

These programs emphasize learning and leadership development in the embedded context, routines and norms of schools and districts and view participants as competent professionals valued for their experience and insight.
