Qualitative Community
Qualitative support group at College of Education
Qualitative support group provides methodological and personal support for graduate students and faculty members conducting qualitative research. Beginning in 2002 and continuing through 2004, I have organized a qualitative support group for faculty members at the University of Florida, College of Education. Our bi-weekly meetings focused on theoretical and methodological issues related to our qualitative research. 2005 I began a student support group with aims and purposes similar to those of the faculty group, thereby providing students with feedback concerning their research and writing, as well as with identifying possibilities for the presentation and publication of their research. The latest addition to our support system is Qualitative Gestalt group that explores the personal in qualitative researchers.
