ESOL Specialization: Unified Elementary ProTeach

The ESOL specialization develops in-depth understanding of issues of language, culture and effective practices for bilingual students. Students who complete the specialization meet the accomplished practices for ESOL teachers as outlined by the Florida Department of Educadtion.

The ProTeach Unified Elementary program includes the possibilites for an ESOL specialization. The purpose of this specialization is to provide the student with the in-depth skills and knowledge necessary for an effective ESOL teacher. There are two routes to develop this level of expertise.
