Elementary Certification Specialization Option-Educational Technology

Teachers who want increased expertise in teaching with educational technologies will take this specialization. Your specialization consists of a total of 12 credit hours. You will take three online (web) courses. Each online courses is 3 credit hours but are 8 intensive weeks long. You should pay close attention to when these online courses are offered. *EME 6945 is a field-based course. You will be working with a local K-5 teacher (typically from Littlewood Elementary) to integrate technology in his/her classroom. Thus, you will need to have some flexibility in your schedule. You will receive a message regarding this course during your student teaching semester if your student teach in the Fall. If you student teach in the spring, you must contact Dr. Dawson
