The Education With New Technologies : Networked Learning Community is designed to help educators develop, enact, and assess effective ways of using new technologies. It is run at the Educational Technology Center at Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Interactive Learning Media:

International Studies:
Second Information Technology in Education Study (SITES) is an international comparative investigation of the use of Information and Communication Technologies in (primary and secondary) education in more than 30 countries around the world. This study is run under the auspices of the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA).
Lifelong Kindergarten:
The Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab develops new technologies that, in the spirit of the blocks and fingerpaint of kindergarten, expand the range of what people design and create -- and what they learn in the process. Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology:
The Department of Education's Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology (PT3) program addresses a growing challenge in modern education: nearly all elementary and secondary schools are now "wired" to the Internet, but most teachers still feel uncomfortable using technology in their teaching. Since 1999, PT3 has awarded over 400 grants to education consortia to help address this challenge.Profound changes in the way teachers are taught are necessary to meet the demand for teachers prepared to educate 21st century learners.
The University of Florida College of Education is running its UF Teaching and Technology Initiative on the National PT3 Grant.
Technology Innovation Challenge:
Technology Innovation Challenge Grants (TICG) are large-scale implementations of educational technology funded by the U.S. Department of EducationÕs Office of Educational Research and Improvement. These five-year grants were awarded annually from 1995 to 1999.
