Adam Kronebusch – UFTeach

Published: Sep 6, 2011 •• Category: spotlights, UFTeach Profiles

Adam Kronebusch recently graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in mathematics and a math education minor through UFTeach. He chose both of these degrees because he wanted to pursue a career in high school education. After graduating in April 2011, he started job searching in and around Gainesville. “I was blessed to get the last job Alachua county had to offer, teaching Algebra 1 and Algebra 1 honors at Newberry High School! I am extremely thankful for UFTeach, particularly Mrs. Weber, for helping to prepare me for this experience. I have reviewed what the school wants from me on a daily basis and what kinds of lessons they expect and I feel as if I have already done this a hundred times. UFTeach has even prepared me for the minutia teachers have to deal with on a daily basis. I have experience writing syllabi, creating interactive lessons, and, most importantly, teaching an actual class. If it weren’t for UFTeach, I would feel overwhelmed and lost, but because of the opportunities they provided for me, I have never felt so prepared for a job.”
