The Department of Educational Psychology offers graduate programs in:
Educational Psychology
The program in Educational Psychology focuses on cognition and learning, human growth and development, motivation, personality, and individual differences. It includes a concentration in the cognitive psychology of reading and a co-major in Psychology and Educational Psychology with a specialization in developmental psychology.

Research and Evaluation Methodology
The program in Research and Evaluation Methodology is concerned with the development, evaluation, and application of methodology for student assessment, program evaluation, and research in education.

Educational Psychology and Research and Evaluation Methodology offer two master’s degrees: the Master of Arts in Education (M.A.E.) and the Master of Education. The former requires a master’s thesis. Either degree can be awarded as a terminal degree. The programs in Educational Psychology and Research and Evaluation Methodology also offer the Ed.S. degree. All programs offer the Ph.D. degree.
