Research Biography I am currently associate professor in the Counselor Education Department. I am a licensed mental health counselor and a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of Florida. I am also a Diplomate in Counseling Psychology in the American Board of Professional Psychology. I have taught courses in Counseling Supervision, Counseling in Community Settings, and Human Sexuality, among others. My research interests have focused on couples and families, individual mental health, complementary therapies, and clinical interventions and training. I am also interested in the study of law, ethics, and values, creativity, human sexuality, family processes, emotions, and conflict resolution.
