The Teacher-Child Interaction Direct Observation Scale<\/h2>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.24.0″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″]

The Teacher-Child Interaction Direct Observation Scale (TCIDOS) is a direct observation interval recording system that measures the occurrence of teachers\u2019 use of the BEST in CLASS practices as well as teacher-child interactions, and child behaviors. During BEST in CLASS implementation, the TCIDOS is used to provide graphical feedback during coaching. Observation sessions last a total of 15 minutes per teacher-child dyad. In the 15-minute observation session, there are a total of sixty, 15-second intervals.
