Chris Salamone is a social studies teacher at Santa Fe High School in Alachua County Schools in Florida.  The courses he teach include World History, Human Geography AP, Government AP and Macroeconomics AP.  In addition to teaching, Mr. Salamone coaches the Speech and Debate team and serves on the ACEA Concerns Committee.

After finishing a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Central Florida, Mr. Salamone completed a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.  He worked in Mediation with the National Conflict Resolution Center before becoming a Certified Teacher in Alachua County, Fl.

In future years, Mr. Salamone would like to be involved in educational administration, with a particular emphasis on policy development.  He is working on his M.Ed. in Educational Administration as a first step in reaching that goal.  The online program allows him to work on a degree from a high quality university in a flexible, technologically current environment.
