Chris Curran wins Excellence in Educational Leadership Award

Dr. Chris Curran, Professor of Educational Leadership and Policy, has been awarded the Excellence in Educational Leadership Award from the Florida Association of Professors of Educational Leadership (FAPEL). Presented annually, the Excellence in Educational Leadership Award recognizes outstanding individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, innovation, and impact in the field of educational leadership within the state of Florida. This prestigious award honors leaders who inspire excellence and create sustainable systems that enhance student achievement and community engagement.

He was recognized for his impact on educational leadership and policy in Florida and beyond through his research, public scholarship, mentoring, and service to the field. In receiving the award, Dr. Curran shared:
