Pieces in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edweek.org\/leadership\/why-hasnt-tutoring-been-more-effective\/2025\/11\"><em>Education Week<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the74million.org\/article\/lessons-from-a-failed-texas-tutoring-program\/\"><em>The 74<\/em><\/a> summarize two of Dr. Elizabeth Huffaker\u2019s co-authored working papers: \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/scale.stanford.edu\/publications\/beyond-one-teacher-model-experimental-evidence-using-embedded-paraprofessionals\">Beyond the one-teacher model: Experimental evidence on using embedded paraprofessionals as personalized instructors<\/a>\u201d and \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/edworkingpapers.com\/ai25-1295\">When interventions don\u2019t move the needle: Insights from null results in education research<\/a>.<strong>\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Teacher Multiple Jobholding Research Gains Attention<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Our faculty\u2019s work on teacher multiple jobholding has been featured by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edweek.org\/leadership\/its-rough-out-here-why-most-teachers-work-a-second-job-and-what-it-means\/2025\/10\"><em>Education Week<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nctq.org\/research-insights\/are-teachers-taking-on-second-jobs-and-is-it-causing-burnout\/\"><em>National Council on Teacher Quality<\/em><\/a> This research sheds light on how educators balance additional employment and the implications for teacher well-being and student outcomes.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Cellphone Bans and Student Achievement<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Faculty member, Chris Curran, appeared on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsnationnow.com\/us-news\/education\/cellphone-ban-school-florida-study-benefits\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>NewsNation<\/em><\/a>\u00a0commenting on reports that Florida schools implementing cellphone bans have seen improvements in test scores.
