AI Research Awards: Nominations Now Open
The UF Artificial Intelligence and Informatics Research Institute (AIIRI) is now accepting nominations for the 2026 AI Research Awards, recognizing outstanding individuals whose research is advancing artificial intelligence at the University of Florida. Awards will be presented in three AIIRI-sponsored categories: AI Research Excellence Award, AI Research Early Career Award, and AI Research Dissertation Award. AIIRI is also coordinating nominations for two UFRC awards: HiPerGator Pioneering Team Award and HiPerGator Early Career Award.
Recipients will be recognized during AI Days 2026, celebrating faculty and students whose work is making a significant impact on AI research across the university. Nominate a colleague through this link. Nominations are due by September 8, 2026.
