The UF Artificial Intelligence and Informatics Research Institute (AIIRI) is accepting nominations for the AI Research Awards, which recognize outstanding individuals and teams advancing artificial intelligence and informatics through innovation, discovery, interdisciplinary collaboration, and real-world impact.
Award categories include the AI Research Excellence Award, honoring exceptional research contributions by UF faculty and staff; the AI Research Early Career Award, recognizing rising researchers and future leaders in UF’s AI community; and the AI Research Dissertation Award, recognizing outstanding AI-focused doctoral research completed at UF. In partnership with UFIT Research Computing, the awards also recognize innovative use of HiPerGator through the HiPerGator Pioneering Team Award and HiPerGator Early Career Award, which are open to eligible researchers and students at Florida institutions who use HiPerGator. Faculty, staff, students, and colleagues are encouraged to nominate deserving individuals and teams whose work exemplifies excellence and is helping shape the future of AI research at UF. Nominations close September 8.
