Jon Wallace, an academic editor and writing coach with extensive experience in education research and policy, is available for freelance and contract opportunities supporting faculty and researchers. Formerly a senior writer and editor with the Saul Zaentz Early Education Initiative at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Wallace has worked with scholars across numerous universities, think tanks, and disciplines.
His expertise includes translating academic research for broader audiences through research briefs, articles, op-eds, abstracts, and other communications; coaching faculty on writing productivity, manuscript development, and revise-and-resubmit processes; and providing developmental editing, substantive editing, copyediting, and proofreading. His work focuses on helping scholars communicate complex ideas through clear, concise, and accessible prose while preserving the rigor and nuance of their research.
