The\u00a0Provost\u2019s Office, Office of Research, and Center for Teaching Excellence\u00a0are\u00a0launching the Pathways to Excellence<\/a> program, a 14-week experience designed to provide new faculty with a foundational understanding of the teaching and research landscapes at UF.\u00a0Seven of the 14\u00a0weeks focus on\u00a0developing\u00a0evidence-based teaching practices,\u00a0four\u00a0weeks are research-focused,\u00a0two\u00a0weeks will navigate UF and professional trajectories, and the program will conclude with a celebratory session.\u00a0Participants will graduate from the Pathways to Excellence program with improved teaching practices; fully developed strategies for building a sustainable and impactful research career; and knowledge of the UF, state, and federal funding landscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
