Early Childhood Policy Centers Collaborative faculty conduct research at the cutting-edge of early childhood policy through a nexus of disciplinary lenses that intersect early childhood studies, educational policy, leadership, and law.<\/p>\n

      The Early Childhood Policy Centers Collaborative offers the Early Childhood Policy Graduate Student Research Awards (ECP-GSRA) funding opportunity. The ECP Early Childhood Policy Graduate Student Research Awards provide support for graduate students conducting research related to early childhood policy. The ECP-RSF provides financial support up to $2,000 to support graduate student research activities including data collection, research tools or materials, travel, summer effort, among others. Funds can be used to support dissertation research, master\u2019s research, or other research endeavors and may support early stage work (development of data collection tools, pilot data collection, etc.) as well as later stage work (data analysis tools\/software, disseminating findings at conferences).<\/p>\n

      The Early Childhood Policy Centers Collaborative provides the Early Childhood Policy Research Seed Funding (ECP-RSF) internal grant opportunity. The ECP Research Seed Funding provides support for faculty to conduct pilot research and develop proposals aligned with pursuing further external funding. The ECP-RSF provides $3-6k for a faculty member or team of faculty members from any academic unit in the University of Florida to conduct initial research and develop a proposal for further funding to support research on early childhood policy. Early childhood policy is broadly defined \u2013 including a range of policy spheres, settings, and constituents. Proposals could focus on early childhood education, health, home environment, or legal context, among others.<\/p>\n
