We wanted to show that IALT is creating real, positive change in real time. Despite presenting the faculty with the same set of questions, we ended up with many unique perspectives about their individual work. Finding the unifying threads and creating a narrative from the interviews took considerable effort and story-editing collaboration. Our team spent considerable time with the rough interviews to identify and group themes. During interviews, faculty naturally used questions to discuss their work, and we were able to use this rhetorical device in the introduction to frame the entire piece.
