Research Biography

Dongho Kim is an assistant professor of Educational Technology in the School of Teaching and Learning. His research focuses on using learning analytics in online and STEM education contexts. He has engaged in numerous research projects involving the use of multimodal data, such as learner traces and physiological responses. Learning analytics is the main approach that he has taken to obtain an in-depth understanding of learners and their learning processes in a variety of technology-enhanced learning environments. One of his recent projects seeks to develop an intelligent recommendation system using machine learning algorithms.
