He is a Lastinger Center for Learning affiliate faculty and an Associate Editor of Journal of Computing in Higher Education.\r\n\r\nHis research explores how processes and structures within digital ecologies influence learner experiences, focusing on digital microcredentials and massive open online courses (MOOCs) as transformative pathways for education and careers. Dr. Moore investigates the impact of technology integration on learner experiences and outcomes, using systems thinking, design thinking, and machine learning techniques to uncover patterns in learner behavior and motivation. His work aims to identify how these factors influence learner intentions and how learners achieve desired outcomes in digital learning environments. Additionally, he examines how technology integration contributes to the development and effectiveness of these educational and career pathways.
