With over 500 graduate students and more than 30 full- and part-time faculty, the School of Human Development and Organizational Studies in Education (HDOSE) at the University of Florida offers master\u2019s, specialist, and\/or\u00a0doctoral degrees in the program areas of<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/education.ufl.edu\/counselor-education\/\">Counselor Education<\/a>,<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/education.ufl.edu\/educational-leadership\/\">Educational Leadership<\/a>,<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/education.ufl.edu\/higher-education\/\">Higher Education\/Student Personnel in Higher Education<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/education.ufl.edu\/research-evaluation-methods\/\">Research and Evaluation Methodology<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Striving for excellence, our programs and faculty are recognized nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"arrow-bullets\">\n<li>Our Counselor Education program has been continually ranked in the top ten programs of its type in the country since rankings began, and is currently<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/best-graduate-schools\/top-education-schools\/student-counseling-rankings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ranked the #1<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>program in the country. The dynamic faculty are national leaders in the field, research a broad range of mental health topics, and are recognized for their research, mentoring, and teaching.<\/li>\n<li>Our Educational Leadership &amp; Policy program<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/education\/online-education\/education\/online-educational-administration-rankings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ranks in the top 3<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>for the online master\u2019s program in educational administration and among the top 17 overall programs and, with funding from sources such as the National Science Foundation, produces research that informs education policy nationwide.<\/li>\n<li>Our Higher Education program is<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/best-graduate-schools\/top-education-schools\/higher-education-administration-rankings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ranked in the top 25<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>nationally and includes a dynamic collection of faculty conducting cutting-edge research supported by the National Science Foundation and other external funding sources.<\/li>\n<li>Our Research and Evaluation Methodology program has nationally and internationally recognized and award-winning faculty specializing in quantitative, qualitative, and evaluation methods with consistent funding from the National Science Foundation, the Institute of Education Sciences, and more. The Research and Evaluation Methodology program produces a high employment rate for its graduates who secure jobs in academia as well as national and international research companies and educational organizations. IHE partners with individual colleges and state systems to provide rigorous and innovative assessment of current practices and policies aimed at improving student access and success, with a special emphasis on partnering with Florida College System institutions.
