The Higher Education Administration Ed.D. program (Higher Ed LEAD) prepares future leaders for roles in administrative positions in higher education institutions and postsecondary focused non-profit organizations.

Do you want to advance your career without having to leave your job? This program provides a unique path for students interested in advancing their careers as higher education administrators in two and four year institutions with curriculum that links research with practice. Ultimately, graduates are prepared for careers and advancement as leaders within higher education as community college and university administrators, deans, presidents, and professors.

This hybrid program is one of the inaugural Kellogg Foundation Community College Leadership Programs in the nation. Built around the needs of the working professional, this cohort-based program offers curriculum in a blended format. Classes are offered online with students attending two to three weekends per semester held in rotation at the University of Florida and additional colleges within the State of Florida. The program of study is comprised of 90 credit hours and includes a dissertation requirement.
