Larisa Olesova<\/a>, a clinical assistant professor in the educational technology program, has been selected as a recipient of the 2024 Anthology Catalyst Student Success Award.<\/span><\/p>\n

The award recognizes the exceptional contributions of The Shared Metacognition Team, which includes Olesova along with David Miller, M.A.I.S., and Justin Ramsdell Psy.D,\u00a0 from George Mason University, and Ayesha Sadaf, Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. This award acknowledges institutions that implement new Anthology solutions and receive increased retention, increased completion, or improved outcomes as a result.<\/span><\/p>\n

The team focused on enhancing their students\u2019 learning and success by implementing a co-regulated approach while using Anthology, an EdTech company that supports higher education institutions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBy embracing co-regulation, students adapt to online learning conditions, becoming active agents in managing their own and their peers\u2019 learning experiences,\u201d states Olesova.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Bruce Dahlgren, Chief Executive Officer of Anthology, expressed the significance of the award.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Catalyst Award winners exemplify the remarkable dedication needed to employ EdTech in advancing education,\u201d explained Dahlgren. \u201cThese accolades celebrate the outstanding efforts and success of educators and institutions that are at the forefront of innovation, making a meaningful difference in the lives of students every day.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The team celebrated their impactful contributions together at the Anthology Together Conference in Orlando in July.<\/span><\/p>\n
