Your contribution to the effective functioning and on-going improvement of the College is important and appreciated. As FPC representative, you are the liaison to the FPC committee to help ensure effective communication and transparency between the committee and FPC. You play a central role in getting the committee started and organized and in bringing key issues back to FPC for discussion. Below are some general guidelines.[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.24.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>Set the first meeting of the committee<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"arrow-bullets\">\n<li>Schedule the first meeting of the committee within one month of the FPC committee\u2019s composition. Include the prior chair of the committee for this first meeting.<\/li>\n<li>One week prior to the meeting, send FPC committee members the end of year report for the prior year, any documents created by the committee from the prior year, and any tasks sent to the committee to set specific goals for the committee for review at the first meeting.<\/li>\n<li>Identify a chair of the committee at the first meeting and communicate this information to the FPC chair and chair-elect\/secretary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Participate in meetings<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"arrow-bullets\">\n<li>You are an active participant and a voting member of the FPC committee (note that the chair-elect\/secretary is the non-voting chair of CCC).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Report at FPC Regular Meetings<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"arrow-bullets\">\n<li>Provide an oral report on your committee\u2019s work at each FPC If you are unable to attend the meeting, submit a brief (no more than one paragraph) summary to the FPC chair-elect\/secretary.<\/li>\n<li>Bring any issues and concerns that arise in your committee to FPC and\/or to the Agenda<\/li>\n<li>Notify the FPC chair and chair-elect\/secretary when your committee will need time on the FPC Agenda Committee meetings typically take place one week before the regular FPC meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":21,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"on","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[42,44],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1245","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-fpc","category-resources"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v22.0 (Yoast SEO v22.0) -
