Gator Connect aims to address the shortage in school-based mental health professionals by providing financial, personal, and professional support to trainees. Florida Connect<\/h2>\n

<\/span>Florida Connect uses the Interconnected Systems Framework (ISF) to integrate schools\u2019 extant Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) with School Mental Health (SMH) infrastructure. CyberSpill<\/h2>\n

CyberSpill assesses how social media and other forms of online engagement facilitate the real-time development of multiple mental health outcomes among adolescents, including depression, substance use, self-harm, and wellbeing. We do so via a combination of active ecological momentary assessment and passive monitoring of adolescents\u2019 naturalistic smartphone use.<\/p>\n

Reading For Resiliency<\/h2>\n

Using existing decodable texts, R4R helps young learners strengthen core reading skills while developing key traits like self-awareness, social problem-solving, and relationship skills.<\/p>\n

This project examines identification of and academic outcomes for students with learning disabilities, with a focus on student characteristics, effective instructional and intervention services, and identification practices. Project Integrate<\/span> prepares five doctoral scholars to implement and disseminate evidence-based practices using the Interconnected Systems Framework (ISF), with the goal of improving behavioral and mental health outcomes for students with disabilities. Scholars <\/span>receive intensive training, mentorship, and hands-on research experience focused on integrating school-wide positive behavior supports and mental health services.<\/span><\/p>\n
