It increases serotonin levels, leading to improved mood and energy.\u00a0<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Styles of yoga and controlled breathing practices can improve symptoms of anxiety and depression. At its core, this style focuses on body relaxation. Mindfulness is one of the most popular meditation techniques. It has two main parts: attention and acceptance.\" Researchers reviewed more than 200 studies of mindfulness among healthy people and found mindfulness-based therapy was especially effective for reducing stress, anxiety and depression. Mindfulness classes and mindfulness-based therapies provide the tools to put concepts of attention and acceptance into practice.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ol style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\">\r\n \t<li>Headspace app: Headspace is a meditation app designed to help you live more mindfully. The app offers a wide range of meditations for beginners and experienced users that range from 3 to 20 minutes. In the app, you\u2019ll find stand-alone meditations for when you need a break and longer courses focused on deeper education into mindfulness. Examples of courses include learning the basics of mindfulness, coping with cravings, dealing with distractions, and better sleep. The app is free to download, and you have a free trial of 7 days before having to pay a subscription cost.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Loving kindness meditation: Sometimes called \u201cMetta\u201d meditation, loving kindness meditation is a great way to cultivate our propensity for kindness. It involves mentally sending goodwill, kindness, and warmth towards others by silently repeating a series of mantras sending out your wish that you, and all beings, be happy, peaceful, and healthy.
