The UF reading and literacy education faculty comprises a dynamic group of scholars with complementary academic and professional backgrounds. As a group, they embrace different theoretical and epistemological orientations and employ many methodologies in their scholarly work. They are well known for their work in such areas as early literacy, content area literacy, disciplinary literacy, literacy teacher education, writing, second language literacy, academic language, children\u2019s literature, adolescent literature and media literacy.
