UFLI Faculty receive $2 million grant from US Department of Education

The University of Florida Literacy Institute (UFLI), in partnership with Project Read AI and New York City Public Schools received a $2,000,000 grant from the ETechM² Program—Stepping-Up Technology Implementation at the US Department of Education for UFLIAI: Advancing Foundational Literacy with ArtificialIntelligence. The project will (a) develop a tool to modify instruction in UFLI Foundations to better benefit all learners’ early literacy skills, but particularly students with disabilities, and (b) study the scalability of the AI-enhanced instructional tool to revolutionize early literacy instruction.
