The Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis in Social Studies Education prepares scholars for careers in university teaching, research, and educational leadership. Students engage in advanced study of social studies pedagogy, curriculum development, and educational research methodologies while working closely with faculty mentors. The program culminates in original dissertation research that contributes to the field and advances understanding of how social studies education can support informed, engaged citizenship.<\/p>\n
