Student Personnel Association

The purpose of the Student Personnel Association (SPA) is to explore and promote academic and career issues related to higher education and provide opportunities for those interested in the field to develop personal and professional relationships. SPA is responsible for:

  • Hosting Visitation Days, an opportunity for prospective SPHE students to visit UF and learn more about the program
  • Facilitating professional development workshops, initiatives and opportunities
  • Creating social events for current students and faculty, staff, professionals and alumni
  • Coordinating the mentor/mentee program among first- and second-year SPHE students
  • The hooding ceremony for graduating SPHE students
