The first science fair is just THREE WEEKS away and 287 judges’ slots are still open. If you understand the scientific method, are qualified to judge at least one category, and enjoy working with youth in a positive manner, please consider serving as judge!
All of the slots are filled on a first come, first served basis, so register now to reserve your space! As in years past, you may judge at multiple fairs, but may NOT judge your own child’s (or mentee’s) project. Undergraduate slots are limited in number, so if you fit this category, please don’t delay in submitting your registration!
Please note that the registration process is different in a very important way this year: EACH JUDGE must complete the usual registration form as well as an ONLINE VOLUNTEER APPLICATION.
It was recently determined that all science fair judges must complete online volunteer applications which will include an automatic background check of the national sexual predator website. The application process is simple and most people receive immediate feedback that their applications have been approved! Following you will find all the details you need to complete the application and register as judge.
Attached please find the following:
· Revised flyer listing calendar of fairs that still have openings and judging categories
· How To Complete An Online Volunteer Application For Science Fair Judges
· Science Fair Judge Registration
Many thanks for your consideration of this request to serve as school science fair judge! Our students are working hard on their science fair projects and can’t wait to show them to you!
