UF Insect Knowledge Survey
This survey is an invitation to participate in research about your knowledge of insects. Why insects? Do you love butterflies and honeybees, but fear cockroaches and spiders? You are not alone, but not everyone shares your feelings. If you have ever wondered why people have such strong feelings about certain animals, you will take an interest in the topic of our research, which examines how culture influences our attitudes about insects and spiders. To date, no one has systematically explored how US perspectives compare to other nations with regard to insects. This international study will help inform how educators around the world teach this subject.
By completing the questions, you give your consent to participate. If you have any questions about this IRB approved study (IRB202002790), you may contact Dr. Andrea Lucky (University of Florida Entomology and Nematology Department, Gainesville, Florida USA; alucky@ufl.edu). The survey can be accessed at this link: https://forms.gle/p4zBxCvZZAoREYZa8.
