Laura Bassi Scholarship
The Laura Bassi Scholarship, which awards a total of $8,000 thrice per annum, was established by Editing Press in 2018 with the aim of providing editorial assistance to postgraduates and junior academics whose research focuses on neglected topics of study, broadly construed. Disability and Society Minor Graduate Assistant
Description: The graduate assistantship for the Disability and Society minor through the School of Special Education, School Psychology, and Early childhood studies is a .50 level assistantship that is appointed each semester (i.e., on a semester-by-semester basis) – the current position is open for the Spring 2022 semester. The graduate assistant hired for this position will assist with the following tasks:
Communication with Students, TAs, and Instructors: The GA is expected to respond to student and TA questions and communicate with TAs regarding grading within 24-48 business hours. The GA should also plan to meet weekly with the instructor(s) and TAs weekly and/or as needed. Note: Meetings typically occur directly after class.
Accommodations: The GA and instructor(s) work together to ensure accommodations are provided to students with disabilities. Accommodations are tracked and GA may assist with the facilitation fo furnishing these accommodations (e.g., identifying and working with a notetaker when applicable).

UF Education/Training Specialist II
Description: The University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences is seeking full-time Education and Training Specialists who will be part of a state-wide team responsible for coordinating, conducting and documenting training activities related to implementation of the FSMA Produce Safety Rule in the State of Florida. This includes organizing and teaching the Produce Safety Alliance (PSA) standardized curriculum as a lead trainer, leading and participating in the on-farm readiness review program (OFRR), conducting general Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs programs), and generally supporting the food safety extension efforts for growers. The candidate will work closely with Food Safety Extension colleagues, County Extension personnel, Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) personnel, and growers and other stakeholders to advance food safety in the Florida produce industry. SNAP Program Facilitator
Description: CDS Family & Behavioral Health Services, Inc. has a job opportunity working as a Facilitator for our SNAP Program in Gainesville. SNAP (Stop Now And Plan) is an evidence-based, gender-specific, prevention curriculum intended to serve boys and girls (ages 6 through 11) who have been identified as exhibiting certain risk factors. Services are delivered to youth, and concurrently, their parents in small group settings. The SNAP facilitator is responsible for administering the SNAP curriculum to either the parent or child group during the 13-week SNAP group cycle. The facilitator must attend the 5-day core SNAP training and submit mock role-plays for each of the role-plays in the facilitator manual prior to the group cycle. Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program
Description: The Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program Collaborative is a two-year conservation training program for undergraduates who are interested in careers in conservation and in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the field. Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Fellowships
Description: The Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) Fellowship Program provides opportunities for doctoral candidates to engage in full-time dissertation research abroad in modern foreign languages and area studies. The program is designed to deepen research knowledge and increase the study of modern foreign languages, cultural engagement, and area studies not generally included in U.S. curricula.
Program Features: Students may request funding to support overseas research for a period of no less than six months and no more than 12 months. UF IFAS Summer Internship with Cedar Key School K-12 Education
Description: This internship is intended to give undergraduate students at UF an opportunity for real-world experience in education and/or extension activities. Camp Laurel South Summer Camp
About Camp Laurel South: Camp Laurel South is located near Portland, Maine in the heart of the Sebago Lakes Region. Its 150 unspoiled acres include woodlands, sports fields and open lawns. It’s location in the southern part of Maine makes Laurel South a most inviting summer retreat for campers and counselors alike. Each summer, Laurel South operates two four-week programs with 400 boys and girls, ages 7 to 15 in each session. They come from all over the U.S. as well as several foreign countries. The return rate for both campers and staff is very high.
Description: Camp Laurel South is a residential summer camp in Maine seeking college athletes to be activity instructors and camp counselors for the summer of 2021. This is a great summer experience that can fulfill many internship requirements.
