The Great Florida Teach-In (GFTI) is an annual job fair organized by the Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Educator Recruitment, Development and Retention. It provides a convenient forum that enables educator candidates seeking employment in Florida to obtain interviews with Florida school district and Florida charter school personnel responsible for hiring teachers. Our candidate registration process is underway and to help get the message out to prospective and future Florida educators, we are inviting you to share information about the event with your current and prospective teacher candidates.

The 2022 Great Florida Teach-In is scheduled for Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EDT, with interviews until 4:00 p.m. EDT. This year, the GFTI will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
