The university supervisor facilitates the experience of the intern\/practicum students with their mentor\/site supervisor and students in the classroom or site with clients. The university supervisor provides consistent support for the intern\/practicum student and mentor\/site supervisor during the course of the internship\/practicum experience. University supervisors visit placement sites, observe intern\/practicum students, may facilitate seminars, confer with mentor\/site supervisors and intern\/practicum students, and serve as a resource for the internship collaborative team. Some university supervisors also serve as teaching faculty.
