    • Use the Guiding Principles of Budget Decisions to set priorities for budget reductions
    • Propose ideas for revenue generation to the Deans
  • Recommend and advise new allocations and re-allocations of monies to anti-racism activities in the College of Education
  • Assist in evaluating equity in faculty salaries and budget allocations

Outcomes

Policy Goals

Developing policy goals for UG and Graduate coursework and teacher preparation instruction and syllabi with specific focus on diversity; establishing standards for ensuring diversity of faculty and student voices are represented throughout curriculum; supporting anti-racist syllabi with inclusive pedagogy in all courses.

  • Review policy for ensuring that courses are taught in a way that is inclusive and anti-racist. Include a review of standards and outcomes for the College, Schools, and Departments.

FPC Rep & Chair: Stephanie Alvarez

Policy Goals

Evaluating faculty research and service; helping faculty promote diverse and anti-racist research agendas; ensuring all faculty use critical theories and methodologies to promote access to services and data collection.

Adopted Goals (September 14th, 2020)

  • Assist with developing research funding priorities that target critical educational issues related to power, privilege, and racial justice in schools, communities, and societies.
