RAC Meeting Minutes- October 10, 2023

Brief Report from the Research Advisory Committee (RAC)
The Research Advisory Committee (RAC) met for the first time on October 10, 2023. We addressed all items on our agenda:

  1. Cyndy Griffin is the RAC chair
  2. Discussed the appointment of the FPC Representative position and sent a message to the FPC Chair and Chair-Elect in this regard
  3. Reviewed the final report from the 2022-23 RAC committee
  4. Reviewed the OER Award Tracking document from Dr. Adams: The RAC is responsible for providing recommendations for seven awards in and outside the COE. Many of these deadlines have not been set yet, but all will occur in the spring semester.
  5. Developed a plan for scheduling meetings
