Our on-campus option offers real classroom experience through supervised clinical sessions and a full year internship in a local elementary classroom to give you the confidence, leadership, and expertise needed to support students from all backgrounds. Specialized coursework with a motivated cohort of peers will enhance your understanding of professional teaching methods, effective instructional strategies, educational technology and classroom management.

    Online B.A.E.

    Bachelors Program

    Embrace the flexibility of UF’s top-ranked online education program. In our fully online, competency-based option, you’ll gain the essential skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience you need to become a confident elementary school teacher. Through our strong partnerships with school districts across the state, you’ll be paired with experienced mentor teachers who will guide and support you during your practicum and internship. With the support of UF’s dedicated faculty and real-world mentoring, you’ll graduate fully prepared to succeed in the classroom.

    Please note, you must live in Florida and be able to complete practicum and internships in a Florida public school to enroll.
