Course Description
Provides research experience in the field of generative AI in education through the selection and utilization of AI tools and technics appropriate for the development of an intelligent tutoring system for improving the oral reading fluency of elementary school students.
Student Learning Objectives:
- Explore the Underlying Technologies of Generative AI
- Develop Foundational Knowledge of Generative Models
- Select and/or utilize AI tools and techniques appropriate to a specific context and application.
- Gain Proficiency in Python Libraries for AI applications
- Understand the basic concepts of AI ethics
- Evaluate and Fine-Tune Pre-Trained Generative Models
- Experiment with Multimodal Generative Models
- Understand the objectives and strategies for AI-Powered Creative Applications
- Evaluate the performance of Generative AI Systems
Software:
