Write Yourself into the Art Museum! | Words on Canvas
Words on Canvas is an annual competition at the Harn Museum of Art for University of Florida and Santa Fe College students interested in inspiring museumgoers by writing poetry or prose connected with a work of art. This year, students can choose from 26 artworks covering each of the Harn’s collecting areas on view throughout the museum.
Writers of winning entries will be awarded fun prizes and have the opportunity to read their entry in front of their artwork at the Harn’s Museum. Their essay/poem will be printed in a brochure to be given to them, featured at the front desk and available for download on the webpage. Students may submit until midnight, March 11, 2021. For more information – including a list of artworks, see the Words on Canvas website at http://www.harn.ufl.edu/wordsoncanvas.
