Research Study Survey
A team of UF Master’s in Public Health students is studying the health-related needs of University of Florida students and would greatly appreciate your feedback. Graduate Assistant, Leadership Development Program
Description: The Heavener School of Business is seeking a graduate assistant to manage the Leadership Development Program. This newly created role will maintain and oversee the curriculum and student leaders of the program. We are looking for someone with experience working with college students, highly motivated, energetic, and interested in career readiness.
Position Details:
- Work hours per week: 20 (primarily 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday; some nights and weekends)
- Position start date: August 16, 2022. Minimum one-year appointment (Fall 2022 & Spring 2023 terms).
- Two-year commitment is preferred. Summer employment is negotiable.

Graduate Assistant, Collaborative for Equity in Education
Description: The Collaborative for Equity in Education is looking for a full-time GA to help support the work of the Center. This position will include supporting the center’s flagship program, the Akwaaba Freedom School. You can find out more about the Collaborative and the faculty involved here. GA roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with administrative tasks
- Program development and planning for the center
- Communications and online presence support
- Organizing, collecting, and analyzing research data
- Help building partnerships with educational entities
This role includes a GA stipend for 20 hours a week and a 9-credit tuition waiver.

College of Business - Sales Program Coordinator
Description: The College of Business is looking to hire a graduate student with work study to fill the position of Sales Program Coordinator. Applicants need to have the ability to work around 20 hours per week in office at Bryan Hall.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with room reservations for regular and special events
- Aids in partner and recruiter visits to campus, including reserving parking
- Helps with the onboarding and hiring of student assistants, including teaching assistants
- Coordinates Sales Program calendar as it relates to curricular and co-curricular programs
- Handles basic Sales Program related questions related to student inquiries
- Manages communications for the Sales Program, including regular communications to students and partners through newsletters, social media, etc.
- Assists with development of curricular and co-curricular programs via research
- Maintains an inventory of UF Sales Program material assets (shirts, graduation cords, etc.)
- Coordinates students and teaching assistants as needed
- Assigned additional related responsibilities as needed
- Occasional weekend hours (relating to special events, competitions, etc.)

Spectrum Education Volunteers
Description: Spectrum Education is looking for volunteers! We are a fully virtual nonprofit whose mission and purpose is to empower Florida’s exceptional students to reach their full potential through a rigorous and engaging virtual learning community. We are looking for volunteers to help teach related arts classes once a week (Physical Education, Computers, Music) via Zoom to elementary, middle, and high school students. The lessons would be provided, and class size would be between 2 and 10 at the most.

Paths To Purpose - Leadership Opportunity
Description: Path to Purpose is a year-long leadership and social change fellowship grounded in a community organizing model. Fellows will invest in workshops highlighting relationship building, personal branding, leadership, communication and more. You will get exposed to numerous community organizations and leaders in Gainesville to develop relationships and support long-term goals of positive community growth.
Fellows learn about critical community engagement and organizing, collaborate with fellow cohort members and BCLS staff, and develop individual and intersectional cohort projects. Working together, we create tangible impacts through ongoing projects. Please check out some of our Community Fellows’ previous work on our website!
This is not a competitive fellowship; it is a collaborative fellowship. The purpose is to develop your leadership through social change and community involvement.
Time commitment varies each week, but we expect fellows to spend a minimum of 4–6 hours per week on Path to Purpose items, regardless of specific projects. The variance is due to the self-directed work completed outside of the fellowship space. This fellowship is open to undergraduate and graduate students.
