We are looking for an intern to assist with our school activities curriculum! Currently, schools use an activity guide as they go through our program. Each year, we revamp the activity guides with new information, activities, and ideas for all our schools. This is not a design internship but an opportunity to be creative and research/develop activities that students would do based on our established Energy Bus principles.

OBJECTIVE: 

The Education Coordinator will be a key member of the Education team. This staffer will play a vital role in supporting WEDU PBS educational outreach and engagement activities. The Education Coordinator collaborates with the Communications Department on promotions and events. A Parent Educator implements the Parents as Teachers (PAT) model, emphasizing parent-child interaction, development-centered parenting and family well-being in their work with families. Utilizing the PAT Foundational Curriculum in culturally sensitive ways, the parent educator partners, facilitates and reflects with families. The incumbent must renew Parent Educator Certification annually. Incumbent will utilize a personal vehicle in order to drive to homes and community sites to meet with families in Putnam county. Bilingual (Spanish) candidates highly desired.

Teach at P.K. Yonge’s Summer Adventures in Mathematics Camp 2024!

Who: College of Education Preservice Teachers

When: June 3rd-27th. Monday-Thursday, 7:45am-1:00pm

Where: P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School Campus

You will be the classroom teacher for a group of ~12 students in upper elementary. This is a paid work opportunity. If interested, contact Dr. Ross Van Boven at rvanboven@pky.ufl.edu as soon as possible.
