CPET Summer Teaching Opportunity for Graduate Students
CPET’s Precollege Scholars (PCS) Program 2024 is a summer opportunity for UF graduate students (teams of 2 grad students) to design and teach a college-level short course for motivated high school students. Only one proposal application needs to be submitted per team.
Teacher Training Workshop through Project Learning Tree (PLT)
Students interested in teaching elementary grades or middle / high school science are invited to participate in a Teacher Training Workshop through Project Learning Tree (PLT). PLT is an environmental education curriculum for teachers of preK-12 students focused on giving students opportunities to learn about science concepts through engaging activities in and outside of the classroom. This training will introduce teachers to the curriculum through opportunities to experience some of the lessons while also learning about how to successfully implement this type of learning with preK-12 students. Dell Member Purchase Program–A discount initiative designed for UF students and employees. UF College of Education Student Services-FWS Student Assistant
The College of Education’s Student Services is recruiting part-time Federal Work Study (FWS) students to join the team for SUMMER 2024 and/or FALL 2024. Student assistants are responsible for assisting in the administration of departmental activities and providing a welcoming environment for students.
Applicants should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently. Primary responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent customer service and assisting student, staff, and faculty inquiries
- Answering phone calls and email inquiries
- Performing clerical duties that support departmental operations
- Maintaining discretion and confidential information
- Assisting with college events and office projects.
This position is open to currently enrolled students and all majors are welcome to apply. This position has the potential to continue in the summer and fall semesters.
