The Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion and Community & International Engagement provides leadership and support for Inclusive Excellence.

Holmes Scholars
The Holmes Scholars Program is sponsored by the American Association for Colleges of Teacher Education (AACTE). The AACTE Holmes Scholars Program provides mentorship, peer support, and rich professional development opportunities to doctoral students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds who are pursuing careers in education.
About Dr. Erica McCray
Erica D. McCray is Professor and Associate Dean for Faculty & Staff Affairs, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, and Community & International Engagement in the College of Education at the University of Florida. She earned her doctorate at the University of South Florida, Tampa. Dr. McCray’s experience as a special educator for students with behavioral and learning disabilities in elementary and middle school settings led to her interest in education policy and practice for equity and diversity. Her research extends P-20+ and includes educator effectiveness, diversity, and belonging.
