In response to many alums request to stay in touch with one another and have a virtual networking tool, we created an Alumni Listserv for Counselor Education alumni. Tracey (Claybrooke) Friend – 93’ M.Ed. / Ed.S. provided us with an update. “Since graduation I have not practiced in the Counseling Field, however have applied my skills within Human Resources Consulting and Technology. Currently I am the VP of Solutions Architecture for Adecco’s Recruitment Outsourcing Division. This role allows me to travel and work with fabulous organizations. Congratulations goes to Dr. Jose Villalba, for winning the 2007 UNCG Teaching Excellence Award for Untentured Faculty, something that is bestowed upon only one UNCG faculty member each year. Prior to that, Dr. Villalba had received the 2005-2006 School of Education Teaching Excellence Award at that institution.
