Site-based Implementation of Teacher Education (SITE) Program offers an accelerated, hands-on Master\'s programs tailored for career-changers aiming to transition into K-6 teaching, providing comprehensive online instruction, mentoring, and coaching support throughout a year-long internship in a classroom setting.

UFTEACH – MATHEMATICS, SCIENCE, & COMPUTER SCIENCE

The UFTeach minor in mathematics, science, or computer science is appropriate for students who wish to teach mathematics, science, or computer science at the middle school and high school levels in Florida. This is an alternative certification program, specifically a Professional Training Option (PTO), meant to prepare math, science, and computer science students for temporary teacher certification in Florida. Professional teacher certification is attainable after one year of successful teaching in a Florida public school.
