Write Yourself into the Art Museum! | Words on Canvas
Words on Canvas is an annual competition at the Harn Museum of Art for University of Florida and Santa Fe College students interested in inspiring museumgoers by writing poetry or prose connected with a work of art. This year, students can choose from 26 artworks covering each of the Harn’s collecting areas on view throughout the museum.

Writers of winning entries will be awarded fun prizes and have the opportunity to read their entry in front of their artwork at the Harn’s Museum. The Laura Bassi Scholarship 
The Laura Bassi Scholarship was established by Editing Press in 2018 with the aim of providing editorial assistance to postgraduates and junior academics whose research focuses on neglected topics of study, broadly construed. The scholarships are open to every discipline and the next round of funding will be awarded in Spring 2022.
All currently enrolled master’s and doctoral candidates are eligible to apply, as are academics in the first five years of full-time employment.
