Admissions
The Computer Science Education program adheres to the admission guidelines set by our home department, the School of Teaching and Learning. Please refer to: Admission Guidelines for all Degrees and Certificates. This page also includes admissions deadlines for each semester (please scroll below the links to each program in our department).
You will be asked to submit transcripts, a purpose statement (i.e. why you want to enroll in the Computer Science Education program and how it will help you reach your professional goals), and three letters of recommendation. Ed.D. applicants also submit a writing sample. The GRE is no longer required for any of the CSE programs.
Please note UF requires that all applicants to graduate programs have at least a 3.0 undergraduate GPA.
